Professor Dandia’s journey is truly inspiring. Despite facing significant health challenges, including a complex spinal cord condition and subsequent unsuccessful surgery, she demonstrated incredible determination and passion. Refusing to be defined by her physical limitations, she channeled her energy into creating an extraordinary impact in the field of solar energy.

As the former Head of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Professor Dandia’s achievement is a source of immense pride not only for her department but for the entire university. The award acknowledges her innovative research and significant contributions to solar energy through her company, Trinano Technology Private Limited.

Under Professor Dandia’s leadership, Trinano Technology Private Limited has developed a groundbreaking solid-state nano-coating designed to address the persistent challenges of low efficiency and high maintenance costs associated with solar panels.

This innovative coating boasts a unique microstructure that prevents dust, oil, soot, and bird droppings from adhering to the surface. As a result, the need for frequent cleaning is reduced by up to 50%, leading to significant cost savings and improved performance of solar panels.

The “Jaipur – Global Solar Expo Rajasthan – Suryacon Conference and Awards Ceremony” served as the platform for honoring Professor Dandia’s accomplishments. The event, organized by EQ Magazine – Conference Division, brought together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the solar energy sector.
